ProPilates Manual Therapy can effectively be used to treat musculoskeletal pain and disability and increase function using a variety of techniques. After evaluation of a client’s goals and body condition, our experienced practitioners apply appropriate techniques performed manually that might include mobilizations or manipulations of soft tissue and skeletal joints.
ProPilates Manual Therapy Services
Instead of needles, fingers are used to stimulate the acupuncture points in the body using principles of Chinese medicine to relieve pain and a variety of other symptoms.
Practitioner uses gliding strokes applied with oil with the flat of the hand by putting the fingers together with hands outstretched. The stroke can vary in rhythm, pressure, and motion and can be applied with one or two hands.
Eliminate pain and restore range of motion with gentle, yet sustained pressure into the deep connective tissues of the body. The lack of oils during this treatment allows the practitioner to directly sense facial restrictions.
Through precise, minute joint manipulation, normal joint function, power, and range of motion are restored, including soft tissues around the joint.
Practitioner assists the client in this active therapy in the stretching process by focusing on certain muscles that drive the movement of a particular joint, increasing the range of motion around a joint, relieving muscle soreness and muscle-joint stiffness associated with age, and promoting relaxation.
Manual Therapy in conjunction with Traditional Acupuncture, Infrared Light Therapy and our ProNutrition Program will help you rid of pain and with overall better health and well being!
