The reformer allows you to perform exercises that develop good
alignment, core strength, and flexibility. It is designed with a moving
carriage, springs, leather straps and a foot bar, allowing you to
perform exercises lying prone, supine, sitting and standing. |
|
The Guillotine Tower is used for more advanced strengthening and
stretching exercises. It also allows taller people to more comfortably
perform exercises that can also be done on
the Cadillac. |

The Cadillac is one of the most effective and versatile pieces of
exercise equipment ever designed. Joseph Pilates designed the
Cadillac
while he was working as a hospital nurse, to allow bedridden patients to exercise. |
|
Exercises performed on the Electric Chair include stretching the spine
and hamstrings, and strengthening the Powerhouse, legs, feet, calves,
Achilles tendon, gluteal muscles, and arms. It is called "The Electric
Chair" because "you are the electricity that makes it move." |
